truth and reconciliation...under the glass

being in a relationship...particularly one that is ending at your behest..becomes a magnifying glass for you imperfections. as a result i find that i am sELFISh..unGRATEful..mEAn..and unCARing..not to mention that i am nOT THE TYPe of person that she daTES. i can't be angry at her for putting me under the glass, it works both ways and it seems that i have also turned it upon myself and now see what SHe sees..and i wish for the sUN.
barriers i have put up echo with the mantra
"she does nOT HAVe the keY"
not the rusty metal one, tarnished with the history of me..hers is a plastic card....one easily melted by the heat of the sun and it is unbearable when sunlight equals sadness.
